“If you are still in the process of raising children . . . be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will

-to your surprise- miss them profoundly.”

Old friends and a Halloween Parade

I just found out that my old high school buddy, John Thompson, and his wife and kids were going to be passing through this morning on their way to Provo. Since I had to take Trisadee to school about the same time they would be here, they were nice enough to come through Hurricane to see me :)

We had a good time catching up and it was fun to meet his wife, Barb, and his kids. Hopefully the next time they come or we go down to Vegas, Charlie and Tris can be with us. I think they'd both love John's family :)

Trisadee was really excited this morning to get to go to school in her costume. She looks like a real cowgirl, don't you think? ;)

This year was nice because all we really needed to get for her costume was the shirt and vest... we had the rest... and those two things we didn't have were luckily found at the DI :D Yay!!

Trisadee's school has a tradition to have the kids do a little Halloween parade around the school grounds to show off their costumes... This was Trisadee's first year... Hooray for Tris!!

Sorry for my annoying commentary ;)
