“If you are still in the process of raising children . . . be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will

-to your surprise- miss them profoundly.”

Visiting Gpa Braley

A little over a week ago, we decided to go up and visit Grandpa Braley in Central. He had all kinds of new things to show us... before we went up, I wanted to take a pic of the girls in front of my favorite flower in our yard. It's right in front of our front window and there are actually three or four plants that are all in bloom now, but there were only this small bunch. They only last a few weeks and then are gone & I just Love when they come....

Up at Barry's, he had all kinds of fun things to do. Trisadee helped plant some peas and things in the garden...

While Trisadee & Barry worked in the garden, Taigyn and I played in the little house that Trisadee used to love when she was smaller.... and then we started getting attacked by gnats!! :( They are Cedar Gnats that Love the cedar trees... and they obviously loved us!! Poor Taigyn got it the worst, because she's the sweetest ;) They left little red dots on our heads... there's a picture further below that shows some of her battle wounds.

Barry added on some additions to his house and had a smaller space underneath his bedroom deck that he made into a little clubhouse/shop for the girls to play in (with a doorbell to boot, just for Tris)... it stays nice and cool and is pretty neat!

The rest of the day consisted of riding bikes in the front addition of the house that hasn't been finished yet (so we could hide from the gnats), playing on the slide, shooting hoops, resting inside and reading and eating, & riding four-wheelers. It was a nice visit.... Barry always makes it fun for the kids :D

Trisadee is pretty neat now... she has no troubles driving all by herself! ;)
