It's fun to watch the kids getting older, bit by bit :) Amelia Jo turned 4 last week and we were excited to spend the day with her... First thing we did was go to the splash pad while waiting for the pool to open (there was an accident in the pool, so it wasn't open when we first got there), then we went to the pool and Amelia jumped off the diving board!! All three of us parents (Joe, Beth & I) were Really excited to see her doing this and were cheering and making it a pretty big deal each time she jumped.... This kinda took some attention off Tris (who makes a big deal out of not having as much limelight when Amelia is around) and she was pretty bummed... Leave it to
cool Aunt Beth to come to the rescue and she gave Tris these snazzy goggles to Have :)
Beth Really is an awesome aunt :)
After naps and showers, we all went out to dinner with Amelia and fam when Daddy got home. She picked the place... Panda Garden :) I thought it was cool that a lil kid would choose Chinese ;)
After dinner, we weren't really wanting to rush home, so I mentioned that I'd heard about a new carousel in St George... so we went!
Beth was a gem and was the only one who wanted to ride it with the kids :) Such a big help!
Afterwards we went to Baskin Robbins and ate ice cream... pretty fun day! It's always nice to have the cousins hang together and celebrate!
