I'm pretty fascinated by this little guy... maybe girl...
Fact: You don't know the sex of a tortoise until they are a few years old. Then you can tell by the length of their tail...
We still have yet to figure out what he/she is LOL
Taz has grown So much in the last year! We still keep him in his cage/box sometimes, but during the summer we've been letting him out all day and sometimes over night... I bring him in every other night to feed him and soak him so he stays healthy :)
The other day, while it was raining outside, I noticed Taz trying to drink the water from the ground. It was cool to see him mozy along and then just jut out his head and go for it ;)
They really are amazing creatures
