“If you are still in the process of raising children . . . be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will

-to your surprise- miss them profoundly.”

First ride and sleepover

Since I've been car pooling with a lady down the ward for preschool, I've come to find that there's a lot of young girls who ride their bikes to school.  I convinced Tris to try going with them on her scooter....

.... and it ended up being a one time thing LOL  She said going to school was ok, but when they got there, a man took her scooter and threw it in the bike cage LOL  She was Not pleased.
Then, on the way home, the girls all wanted to take a 'short cut' which was through a lot of off roading dirt and Tris didn't want to ruin her scooter so she carried it the whole way through there.  The girls pretty much ditched her, and when they Did try to wait for her, they said 'We have to wait for Scooter Girl'  Tris was pretty upset when she got home and looked very hot :(  Poor thing needs to learn to ride her bike!

To make up for that terrible fiasco, Tris had a sleepover scheduled for that night.  We had Malika, her old Hurricane friend, come and they had a blast :)
The  next morning we went to a pancake breakfast fundraiser and played at the park...

Charlie had as much fun as the kids ;)
