“If you are still in the process of raising children . . . be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will

-to your surprise- miss them profoundly.”

Frogs and Kix

On Thursday, the girls and I went with my dad and brother, Wilson, to the creek on the way up to Kolob. I hadn't been to this place in a Really long time and was kinda excited to see how the girls would like it :) Things had changed a little. You can no longer drive down to the camp site anymore but have to hike in. It was pretty Dang hot and Taigyn wasn't really having a blast, but Trisadee was in heaven. She's at the perfect age to bring these little adventures to life :) She caught quite a few frogs and was pretty excited to bring them home and show them to Daddy. Papa helped a ton with carrying the baby and helping Trisadee discover new things. It was pretty fun.....

After coming home, mommy made Tris let the frogs out in the back yard... and ever since that day she's been 'mothering' them LOL She goes out to check on them several times throughout the day and has named them. Charlie has put off mowing the lawn just because she is so terrified that her frogs will be chewed up ;)

By the way that she holds these little guys....

... it's no wonder that they try to make a run for it ;)

This is how Taigyn eats her breakfast some mornings :D When mommy needs a good workout, she'll just throw some Kix or another of Taigyn's favorite cereals on the floor and fill a sippy with milk. She Loves it!! ;)
