My little Beach Babe :)
We got up and went out to breakfast in the morning and did a little shopping for dinner, snacks, and breakfast the next morning.
It was a little bit cool, mid 60s when we went out to the beach... and I was hoping that we could still have fun playing...
... Let me tell you, the weather didn't stop them ;) Tris was the first to go in and was the only one to Really go in
There were Loads of surfers there and lots of picturesque sailboats all along the horizon.
It was just Beautiful!!!
Taigyn and Tris seemed to love the beach the most... Taig even told me that she loved the beach day Way better than the other two days.... Wow! We will save Tons next time we go to visit ;)
Tracelyn was a little funny about the sand and wouldn't walk in it... we had to carry her around... with her curly toes, I'm sure it wasn't comfortable
LOL Taig Loved doing this ;)
We had to drag the kids off the beach to come do the bikes with us... this is the same beach that we came to on our honeymoon and the bikes are just something you have to do when you're there.
There were lots of giggles and screams on a few hills... Charlie and I had to pedal and got a good workout ;)
I told the girls all about the tide pools a ways down by the marina and was kinda sad to see that we made bad timing and there was no way we could get to them without a chance of getting swept away with the tide... next time for sure!!
Tracelyn tanked out on dad
It really is a pretty place!
Excuse my nasty hair LOL ;)
We got back to the room which was a timeshare type place with a kitchen and stuff... so we made our own pizza and lucked out to find Enchanted starting on the Disney channel.
When you're on vacation, you can eat wherever you want, right? ;)
We got a few sunburns and were pretty tired by the time it got dark...
Got up and had to be out by 10 am so we drove up to Victorville and had some lunch at Red Lobster... then we made a few more stops before getting home to our Home Sweet Home! It felt good to be home but was quite a shock going from 60s-70s to 100+
Gotta love the desert ;)
We found a lot of sea shells and I grabbed a gallon baggie full of sand to make sure we would always remember this trip... it was fun... and I love this touch to add to my master bath ;)
